Using Netscape Messenger/Mail e-mail for the first time

Netscape Mail and the slightly older version of this program called Netscape Messenger, are both great programs to send and receive e-mail messages. Your Netscape e-mail program can even be opened directly from your Netscape web browser!

The Inbox is where all new received messages go. The Unsent Messages shows messages waiting to be sent. The Trash folder is where deleted items are sent. Once e-mail messages are deleted from this folder, they are permanently erased. Clicking the New Msg button will open a window where you can write and send e-mail messages. The "To:" field is where you type the recipients e-mail address i.e. username@bcgroup.net. The "Subject:" field is where you type the subject for the message. And lastly, the actual message is written in the area provided.

Once installed, you can run Netscape Messenger/Mail through your Netscape web browser or through your start menu, then programs menu.

This is just a quick overview on basic usage of Netscape Messenger/Mail. Please visit the Netscape website for further information.
